MIAMI INTERNATIONAL WINE FAIR EXPANDS 2O1O PROGRAM – OCTOBER 14 - 17, 2010

Boasting more than 1,500 wines from 20 countries, the 9th Annual Miami International Wine Fair will be the largest to date with 80,000 square-feet of virtual wine country at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Organizers have transformed the two-day event into a comprehensive industry, education and grand tasting program taking place over the course of four days from October 14 to 17, 2010.

Open Friday, October 15 and Saturday, October 16, trade hours are from 11 a.m. to
7 p.m., and consumer hours are 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Admission for trade is complimentary

provided industry professionals register online with a valid license number and present their business card and photo ID at the door.

General admission for consumers is $75 per day ($130 for two days). The VIP Tasting Room has returned to the MIWF. VIP tickets include early access to the MIWF and to the exclusive pavilion featuring the world's top-rated wines and are $125 per day ($200 for two days). Tickets may be purchased at
www.miamiwinefair.com.

Upcoming Fair exhibitors include Wines of France, who will nearly double their presence this year; New Zealand, in an effort to increase their popularity in Florida markets and display their prowess with Pinot Noirs; and ProMendoza (Argentina), to promote their exports from the Mendoza province such as Malbec, a rising consumer favorite. Iberwine will return to the Miami International Wine Fair as one of its most enthusiastic supporters, showcasing wines from Castilla La Mancha, Aragon, Rioja Alavesa and Catalunya to name a few.

Uncorking a grand debut at the Fair, Chile will showcase its vast selection with one of the largest exhibitor pavilions. Most recently, The Berlin Tasting-New York - a prestigious 10-wine competition - confirmed the country's rising status as its high-end Carménère topped wines from Napa Valley and Bordeaux by winning "Best in Show". With more than 500 producers presented in 2009, many more participants will be announced in the months leading up to the Fair.

Newly appointed Executive Director Jennifer Massolo is spearheading initiatives for a fresh and dynamic 2010 program. Massolo was a key member of the Fair's founding team in 2000, and has previously held positions at Remy-Cointreau Group (now Maxxium) in Vancouver, Canada, and at Concha Y Toro in Santiago, Chile. Her enthusiasm and insight will launch this 9th edition, offering both consumers and trade a delectable new experience.
